SnapCall lets you choose which AI model is used to analyze the visual content submitted through each Flow.
By default, SnapCall automatically uses the recommended model. You can also select a specific model if you want more control over how your media is analyzed.
Where can I select the AI model?
Open the Flow you want to configure and go to:
General → AI Configuration → AI Model
Open the AI Model dropdown to see the models currently available for your workspace.
Which AI models are available?
Depending on your workspace configuration, you can select from models such as:
Default (Chatgpt 5 Mini)
OpenAI: GPT- 5.6 Luna
Google: Gemini 2.5 Flash
Mistral: Mistral Medium 3.1
Google: Gemma 4 26B A4B
Qwen: Qwen2.5 VL 72B Instruct
MoonshotAI: Kimi K2.6
The list of available models may evolve over time as new models are added to SnapCall.
What does the selected model affect?
The selected model is used when SnapCall analyzes media within that Flow.
This includes AI Skills that need to understand visual information from submitted images or videos, for example:
identifying an object or product
detecting visible damage
extracting information from documents or labels
checking product condition
verifying that specific elements are visible
classifying submitted media
following custom analysis instructions defined in your AI Skills
Changing the model does not change the customer-facing steps of your Flow. It changes the AI model performing the analysis behind the scenes.
Which model should I choose?
For most use cases, we recommend keeping Default selected.
The Default option allows SnapCall to use the recommended model for the Flow without requiring you to manage the underlying model yourself.
Selecting a specific model can be useful when you want to:
test how different models perform on your use case
compare results for a specific AI Skill
standardize analysis around a particular model
optimize a Flow based on your own accuracy or performance requirements
Because models can interpret the same media differently, we recommend testing your Flow with representative customer examples before changing the model used in production.
Test different models
You can change the AI model at any time from the Flow settings.
To compare models:
Open your Flow.
Go to General → AI Configuration.
Select an AI Model.
Click Test.
Submit representative media and review the AI results.
Repeat the test with another model if needed.
This can help you determine which model works best with your specific media, prompts, and business rules.
A model is configured per Flow
The AI Model setting applies to the Flow you are currently editing.
This means you can use different models for different use cases. For example, one Flow can keep the Default model while another Flow uses a specific model selected for its particular media-analysis requirements.
Once you have selected the appropriate model and tested your configuration, Publish the Flow to make the changes available to your customers.
