The reasoning level determines how much analytical effort the AI applies when processing a AI skill and generating an output.
A higher reasoning level allows the AI to spend more time evaluating the content, handling ambiguous situations, cross-checking evidence, and making more informed decisions. Lower reasoning levels prioritize speed and are generally sufficient for straightforward extraction tasks.
You can find the Reasoning Level setting next to the Instructions field when creating or editing an AI Skill.
Low Reasoning (Default)
Low reasoning is the default setting for all AI Skills. It is designed for simple extraction tasks where the information is clearly visible and easy to identify. This setting provides the fastest processing time and is suitable for most high-volume workflows.
Medium Reasoning
Medium reasoning provides a deeper level of analysis and is recommended when the AI needs to evaluate multiple pieces of information before producing a result. This level offers a good balance between speed and accuracy.
High Reasoning
High reasoning is intended for complex analysis tasks that require interpretation, comparison, or advanced decision-making. This level provides the most thorough analysis and is better suited for situations where accuracy is more important than processing speed.
How Can I Change the Reasoning Level?
