Flow Attachments: How They Work and How to Set Them Up

A Flow Attachment works similarly to a standard Flow in SnapCall, with one key difference: while Clip Flows guide customers through an interactive step-by-step experience, Flow Attachments are designed to integrate directly into your CRM automations.

1. What is a Flow Attachment?

A Flow Attachment allows SnapCall to analyze and process target media. The files typically attached to support tickets that your agents need to resolve a case, such as invoices, product photos, or screenshots.

2. Configuring an Attachment Flow

To create or edit a Flow Attachment, go to the Flow page in your SnapCall dashboard, then open the Attachment tab. From there, you can either create a new Flow or edit an existing one.

3. Main Settings

Like Clip Flows, you can decide if SnapCall should look for AI-generated content, extract location data from file metadata, or identify stock images in the ticket. You can also define a name and description for your Flow to make it easy to find later.

4. Define Target Media

Once the main settings are configured, specify the type of media that SnapCall should analyze by creating a custom prompt. This ensures the AI only processes the attachments that matter for your workflow.
Multiple attachments can be grouped under the same target media. For example, if the target media is invoice and several invoices are attached, SnapCall will categorize them together under a single target media.

5. Add AI Skills

After defining your target media, assign the AI skills you want SnapCall to apply to each one. Depending on your configuration, SnapCall can evaluate each attachment separately or process them collectively to produce a single AI-generated output.

6. Configure Outputs

In the final step, define how and where SnapCall should deliver the AI-generated results. You can choose whether the output appears as a private note (internal) or a public note (visible to the customer), and specify the language of the output.

This setup ensures that every relevant attachment is analyzed accurately and the AI output is seamlessly integrated into your CRM workflow.
